Advertisment

For our final piece we were only allowed to use our own work, e.g. pictures. As most newspapers are funded by there sponsors, i decided to create an advertisement for my newspaper that would run across the bottom of the first page. I played around with ideas but decided to use the advertisement to publicise a new club that i had invented myself. I chose to advertise a club due to the idea that Southend is surrounded by night clubs and pubs, suitable for the student lifestyle. I made this advert before creating an entirely new advert using Photo Shop on the Mac computers.





I plaed with the computers effects using this picture which i wanted to include on my advert.













This was my first attempt using a older version of Photo Shop. As I was knew to the program.








Here is the result after I changed the colour and texture, using the newer version of Photoshop, ths would be the final design that i have chosen.





And this is my final advertisement to appear on my website and newspaper. I found that I was much more confident with the program and was able to play around with the settings for a more professional effect.



I used a photograph taken by myself for this advertisement and used bright colours such as puples and white against a black background, i found that this style expresses a youthful effect.
