I will be focusing on brief eight which involves creating the first two pages of a new local , together with a poster for the newspaper and two hyperlinked pages from the papers website. I will create a logo specified to this particular brief. I will brainstorm ideas for possible articles and features to appear on the two pages and website. I want to create a create an enticing new local newspaper for the southend area, full of all the information and goings on in the seaside town. I also want to involve advertisements from local events, as my newspaper is free i will need to use these advertisement contacts to fund our newspaper, and to really create a believable piece, that people of all ages can read. I plan to have this work produced by the date of deadline in April/May. The newspaper will be released weekly and will be available on news stands at any rail station and readers will be given the option to recieve by post. I chose to make this free due to the recession, I felt that it was unfair to charge people for wanting to know the news in their area.
