Logo

When the assignment was first put into place, I was working as a part of a team. This changed however after a discussion with our teacher that it would be more beneficial for my grade to commit to this assignment seperately. I decided to create a logo for my newspaper to make my newspaper recognizable to the readers. To play along with the title 'The Southend Scoop' i imagined the logo to resemble an ice cream cone. I made my creation from this a picture off of Google.






And re-made it into a design of my own, researching designs such as this helps create a feel for what people associate with the word ice cream.
This was my final logo result, which was made using photo shop.





The logo took me two and a half hours to create as I was trying to make each detail count. At this time i was still working as a part of a team, however my partner was not available for the day that I made this in class. My partner has decided not to use this as her logo for their individual piece of work. I was extremely happy to find out due to the fact that this was not their work.
